My experience using Rodan + Fields Skin Care Products: Product Review
Since moving to New Mexico several years ago, I learned that being 7000 feet closer to the sun means I have to be so much more careful about my skin regimen and skin care products. So when independent consultant, Karna Hopkins, reached out to me about trying some product samples from Rodan + Fields, I was thrilled. I heard so many great things about this brand but I never truly believe it until I try things out for myself.
The first product I decided to try was the REDEFINE Daily Cleansing Mask. After applying to my dry skin, I let the product sit for a few minutes before thoroughly rinsing with warm water. Please excuse my messy hair in the photo above...I was so excited to dive into these products that I didn't think to do anything with my hair. I have to say that this is one of the few mask products that I've tried that didn't completely dry out my skin afterwards. Instead, it left my skin feeling fresh and soft to the touch.
My next little experiment was the Intensive Renewing Serum (shown above). I've tried enough "miracle" serums to know that my forehead lines and smile lines simply won't budge, no matter how great the product reviews. Well, color me impressed because this serum really did work a miracle! This was my favorite product of the REDEFINE line that I tried from Rodan + Fields. Even my husband noticed the plumping and firming effects. I've never had a product work so quickly on my forehead lines and it made my smile wrinkles almost completely DISAPPEAR. You can see the tiniest hint of forehead lines in the photo below but the smile lines are (happily) nowhere to be seen:
Also shown in the above photo are the results of their Lip Renewing Serum. This was easy to apply and left my lips looking glossy and moisturized. I don't really have a problem with "lip wrinkles" so I didn't notice a significant difference but my lips did feel more plump and my bottom lip looks a little more defined.
The sample I'm most excited to try, I saved for last: Active Hydration Bright Eye Complex. For most of my adult life, I've struggled with dark blue circles under my eyes, no matter how much sleep I get. I can't even count the number of under-eye products I've used without success. The information from Rodan + Fields promises that this product "illuminates and soothes tired eyes while improving the appearance of stubborn dark circles". My fingers are crossed that this cute little product will do the job when I try it tonight.
